Bois Expansion inc. was founded in 1980 by Mr. Jacques Bergevin and Mr. Jacques Orphanos, Two seasoned administrators of the former Montreal Kitchen Cabinet Company. The corporate headquarters are located at 9750 St-Lawrence Blvd, (Montreal) in the building of the Bergevin Family real estate holding, since the postwar years.
A leader on the Canadian market, Bois Expansion inc. also reports in United States, Europe and Asia. First, the company emerged as a wholesaler in the particular gap of ornamental and architectural millwork components. Gradually, the company started to produce decorative pieces that have marked the millwork art through the ages, from baroque to modern architecture, in order to provide the industry with exclusive and innovative products. Today, Bois Expansion inc. is strongly positioned in the construction marketplace.
From seven employees at the beginning, the company now counts on about 100 high qualified people in its four manufacturing plants. The outstanding success is the result of a personalized service combined with sustained efforts to offer the widest range of products adapted to the market trends. For over 20 years, Bois Expansion inc. has successfully met the needs of architects, designers, cabinet manufacturers, real estate developers, contractors and furniture manufacturers.
